It was immediately obvious why this restaurant received first place in the local Reader's Choice Awards. It's a quaint  *little* place with parking on the street only.  We were greeted by a very lovely waitress with whom we had snippets of enjoyable conversation throughout our breakfast.  They close at 11:30am, but someone walked in after that and rather than being turned away, she left with take-out.  Friendly local place.  I ordered the Western Skillet which turned out to be a *mound* of food that was so delicious! My husband had eggs and Italian sausage and he kept raving about how good the sausage was! I took home leftovers and they were just as good the next morning! We both look forward to being in the area again for the opportunity to try out some of the other delicious-sounding menu options!

This place is so cute. Friendly people great atmosphere. With good food. Lots of local people. Prices are cheap for the amount of food you will get. Wish i couple go back every day.

Large and very well-priced menu, always good service! It's pretty small inside so try to come early for brunch on the weekends to avoid too long of a wait. The macadamia nut white chocolate chip pancakes are

I was really looking forward to trying this place out but the first point of contact left such an awful taste in my mouth i wouldn't dare sit down to eat.... You, tall girl who stood by the counter, seemingly a waitress by the way you were dressed, were useless! I had a party of two, we walked in and stood there, it couldn't have been any more obvious and that we were unsure of what to do, i saw you, standing there, and mouthed " how long for two" you replied "i don't know" and continued to occupy the space you stood. We walked outside and decided to wait a few.... we walked back in as we saw two counter seats open, i sought out your eye contact and asked "can we take the counter?" You replied "only one..."

    A. Y'all need a podium or a sign or something that addresses the wait.
    B. Get rid of her or tell her don't talk to the people at the door.
    C. I love breakfast and waitresses love me, your loss.

The people and and the environment were really nice great place for breakfast. The veggie scramble was delicious. The coffee was diner coffee,  as expected. The French toast was a bit soggy. I'm used to 100% maple syrup maybe that's why. Sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel was also great.
